Independently & collectively working together to recycle and repurpose discarded materials into alternative papers
Working with community groups across Birmingham, I facilitated workshops in recycling & repurposing paper waste & organic materials into one off handmade papers. Together, we experimented with sharing different methods and materials both personal and public. Materials were sourced locally & inc. old library books, maps, newsprint & coffee grain & food waste.
So far the groups involved inc. The GOATS @ The SHED, Cotteridge Park & Art Stirchely @ Stirchley Library.
Post-Paper Waste Mini Meet-up!!
Participants were invited after the workshop to share processes, dried paper experiments & have an opportunity to showcase everyone’s brilliant results!
