2023. As a STEAMhouse Artist Member, I worked with 3D print technician Paul Barlow to design paper-making mold and deckles for community workshops. Using Fusion 360 & 2D/3D sublimation printers I was able to make interchangeable, organic mold shapes.
Also, In collaboration with Furniture Maker Jan Waterston, we worked together to create a bespoke mould and deckle to produce handcrafted mushroom paper sheets. The process deepened my appreciation for the time, skill, and craftsmanship involved in this revived technique.
