Collaborating with organisations and community groups across Birmingham, I facilitate hands-on workshops and artist-led demonstrations exploring drawing, printmaking and paper-making.
Participants are invited to experiment with drawing and printing onto a selection of bespoke handmade artist papers, using techniques including mono printing, screen printing and embossing using natural and man-made materials.
Workshops also explore the process of transforming locally sourced paper waste into alternative handmade papers, breathing new life into resources that might otherwise go to waste. Materials have included old library books, maps, newspapers, thread, coffee grounds, food waste and more.
Delta Junction Project with Joy Arts- Handmade paper, print and zine-making workshop with the local community at Water Orton Library, creating space for creativity, conversation and connection with each another and the local environment.
Midlands Arts Centre, Birmingham- A hands-on paper and print workshop and live demonstration of the paper-making process while participants explored drawing and mono printing on a playful mix of the artists handmade papers.
